The controversy between actor Dhanush and Five Star Creations has intensified, with the production house releasing a second public statement.
Earlier, they accused Dhanush of not acting in a film after taking an advance payment. In the new statement, they questioned why actors borrow from producers instead of financial institutions.
They also mentioned that Dhanush’s friend, Mr. Kathiresan, had requested him to accept the project, and once an advance is taken, it’s fair to fulfill the commitment.
The company denied being solely responsible for the shoot delay and said a proper inquiry would reveal the truth. They claimed the letter they received started politely but ended with a veiled threat.
Five Star Creations also alleged that some people are using this issue to bring up unrelated matters and distract from the real problem.
They stressed that this fight is not just for them but for all producers awaiting justice after paying advances.
